Amanda Hayden (she/her) is Poet Laureate and Professor (Humanities, Philosophy, and Religions) for Sinclair College, receiving the Interfaith Core Award (2018), Humanities Professor of the Year (2019), and League for Innovation Teaching Excellence Award (2020). Her chapter, Saunter Like Muir, was recently published by Routledge (2022) in an Eco pedagogies textbook and many of her poems have been featured in journals and anthologies, both print and online. She lives with her family on a small windy farm along with two cats, two goats, seven pigs, many chickens, and three dogs, including a very special blind, three-legged pup named Vinny Valentine.
