Lately, the question of time has found its way into my poems with frequency. Here it’s tied to memory. Whenever you are traveling to places you once called home, the examination can run deep—Who were we then? Do we still get to claim these places? Add to these wonderings the fact that my birthday falls in August right around Perseids' appearance. Every year, I attempt to see the meteors. Every year, I fail.
